What the Buck?!

Most would look at this picture and think, what the buck?! EXACTLY! That is a picture of Michael Buckley, yYouTube star, taking prom pictures with my friends and I before our senior prom. There are many famous celebrities living in Connecticut, and Michael Buckley is one of the newest celebs to call the 203 home. "Since 2006, What the Buck is one of the most popular entertainment show on YouTube covering all your favorite celebrities and television shows! New episodes are posted every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 3pm Eastern. What the Buck has over 1 million subscribers, 300 million views (All Time Top 100 Most Subscribed and Viewed on all of YouTube)!" -Buckhollywood.com I mean watch his most recent video, its hard not to laugh...

Michael Buckley has risen to fame through social media and is a prime example of the power that social media has today in 2011. He now creates videos as his full time job and absolutely loves do int it. He is really becoming one of the top celebrity commentators and was even recently on CNN. Check it out here. He is really an inspiration, taking an idea, going with it, and now thanks to that he does what he loves. Social media is a world of opportunity, we all just need to grasp that concept. Michael Buckley has done so. "He has appeared on CNN, CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox, FoxNews, the CW, BloombergTV, and E! He also hosts “Dear Buck” where he gives occasionally good advice to his viewers and Live Broadcasts on BlogTV.com every Thursday night at 7pm Eastern."-buckhollywood.com He really is accomplished and what is awesome is that he works to promote other YouTubers, as seen in his recent video below. I hope that he serves as a bit of inspiration that when you put your mind to it, you can do anything.

Your blogging finale is so darn funny, it almost trumps the fact that you are 4 followers short of 20.

Very good blogging work for this semester - I've enjoyed "stereotypical nutmegger" quite a bit - and your unique sense of humor and insights lend themselves well to blogging.

I hope you will continue to blog on, my friend.

Thank for an engaging semester - enjoy your summer!

    Yak on,
